Welcome to Hill Country Home School Association

We are a Christian-based organization formed in the early 1990's as a support group to encourage home educating families in the task of teaching their children. The group is overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors and coordinators.

HCHSA serves Kerrville and surrounding areas in the Texas Hill Country.

Our Association is a place to build relationships and find homeschool support, resources, and encouragement for this adventure of educating our children.

We hope you'll join us!

Therefore encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing. 1 Thess. 5:11

Field Trips

Fieldtrips are a great way to provide enrichment to any homeschool. We have several exciting trips lined up for each school year that offer educational info as well as plain old fun! We go all over to help our kids learn interactively.

Monthly Moms' Night

Enjoy encouragement, food, and friendship with other moms on the same journey! We schedule moms' night occasionally. The date of moms' night will be posted onto our Association Calendar which is viewable by members only.

*Park Day

*Though not an official HCHSA event, many of our families gather at the park for a few hours once a week, generally on Friday afternoons beginning at approximately 1:00pm.  We meet for kids to play and parents to visit.

Summer Park Days vary and can be at different locations. There is a GroupMe notification app for members with up to date park info.
